Teens and Family Therapy

Every generation has the experience of having more difficulty navigating the world than the one before. But, we truly do believe that teens and young adults have significantly more experiences with anxiety, depression, ADHD, social and peer struggles, isolation, bullying...the list can go on. Social media, lasting effects of a Pandemic, struggling to relate with parents whose childhoods were without smart phones, can all add into the struggles we are seeing today.

Therapy can be a great place for younger individuals to explore who they area, increase their understanding of emotions and how to regulate themselves, learn social skills and how to set boundaries, navigate the challenges that come with wanting to be independant but still needing to follow home and school rules.

We help your child understand their emotions and the world around them so they can be more confident  and feel prepared for becoming adults. With parental stress and at an all time high, it is even more important that all members of your family are being supported.  Even the Surgeon General is concerned about our teens and their parents!
